How long the course will take?
This is a specialized handwriting therapy and training. We will access the child’s present handwriting and ability and let you know what will be the appropriate number of classes the child needs to better his handwriting.
What sort of improvements might I see in my child's writing?
It depends on your child's current skills and learning ability. At Growel Slills we access the child's foundations skills to target the areas that need improvement. Then we help each child learn new skills to build better handwriting habits. These improvements might include: a more effective pencil grip, better posture for handwriting, improved legibility and greater fluency or speed of writing. More importantly, greater confidence in the child to to face schoolwork and homework.
How many hours the class will last? How many days in week?
Each class will be of minimum one hour duration. We recommend three hours of training in a week. Two hours of training per week is the minimum permitted.
Do parent have to teach at home?
Parents are not required to teach the child at home. However, the parent should monitor, comment and encourage the child to do the homework in a manner the child is taught at Growel Skills.
How long the child has to practice at home?
We recommend home practice for around 30 minutes at least 5 days in week at home.
If the child is not able to attend the class does he miss that day’s lessons?
No. The lessons will continue the next class the child attends.
My child has learning difficulty / dyslexia, can he improve his handwriting?
We have very good track record in helping child with learning difficulty and dyslexia to improve handwriting.
My child has attention deficiency problem, can you cope with him in the class?
Attention deficit children are handled with care and patience. Child who has been diagnosed as having high degree of ADD or ADHD should be sent to class with medicines your doctor has prescribed.
Do you have tutors who can come home for training?
No, we do not home tutors at the moment.
Do you give personal attention to my child?
Personal attention is given to each child.
My child hold the pencil awkwardly. Can you help?
Yes. We train them the correct pencil grip

My child is in high school final, the exam is two months away. Can you help to improve his handwriting?
Sorry the time is too short. Handwriting Training is not a quick fix program.
Do you train an adult who is an executive in a company or a professional like doctors ?
Yes, we do.
Is this really for adults, too?
Yes. Many of their handwriting is "terrible". We have received inquiries for adult handwriting from a variety of people, from those in sales, medicine, going back to school, insurance, and other service industries. The classes are interesting!
